Immediately stop all gluten, grains, dairy, eggs, legumes, nightshade vegetables,
caffeine, and sweets including food containing yeast or sugar. These are the
most common culprits causing leaky gut syndrome.
Gluten includes all wheat, barley, rye, and oats.
Grains (or foods similar to grains) include wheat, barley, rye, oats, rice, corn,
quinoa, and millet.
Dairy includes milk, butter, cheese, yogurt, and ice cream.
Legumes include lentils, chickpeas, peas, green beans, and other types of beans
(red, white, black, kidney).
Nightshade vegetables include eggplants, peppers (bell peppers and others),
white potatoes and tomatoes.
You might not be allergic to some of these foods, but don’t take any chances at
first. Later if you want to spend the money for testing you may be able to cut this
list down.
